GREEN LANE CARTIERVILLE – PRIZE AAPC 2014

With support from the neighborhood residents, Aménagement Côté jardin has transformed this alley, once asphalted, into a true urban oasis!

Over 2000 perennials, 345 native trees, shrubs and climbing vines are now enhancing this space, thus promoting the increase of biodiversity. Bike racks as well as relaxation and meeting spaces have also been built.

Designed by Groupe Rousseau Lefebvre, the project which possesses an innovative concept for rainwater drainage, won the Award of Excellence Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in 2014, in the Regional Merit Category. [For more information…]
